The Max Rosen Memorial Law Library of the Wilkes-Barre Law & Library Association is located on the second floor of the Luzerne County Courthouse on River Street in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Dedicated and Named for Judge Max Rosenn in 2006, the law library dates back to 1855 and is the oldest law library in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
HOURS
The Law Library is open to the public 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Weekdays and is closed for Holidays and Meetings of the Bar Association.
LAW LIBRARY POLICY
No law books may be removed from the Law Library.
All books must be returned to their place upon the shelf by the user.
A photocopy machine is available for use in the Law Library to copy legal materials. The cost is $.15 per page.
LAW LIBRARY REORGANIZATION
A professional study of the Max Rosenn Memorial Law Library is
being undertaken by Regina Smith of the nationally renowned Jenkins Law
Library in Philadelphia. Based on her report a major reorganization of the
Law Library is occurring.

If you cannot attend this event in April, the Bench Bar Committee
will be
voting on having this tribute to Judge Rosenn at the November Bench Bar
Conference. Details will be published in the Luzerne Legal Register.
